Schools

The Flamingo area offers families who may be deciding to move here the perfect choice for their children's education. The Country Day School, with a sister campus in the capital of San Jose, is one of the best schools in Central America and is a U.S. accredited school serving grades K-12. Its 37 acre campus is located only 10 minutes from Flamingo and is made up of students from all over the world. They also offer boarding for students whose families are living abroad. The school boast a beautiful campus with a gym, swimming pool, soccer field, and rock climbing wall to mention a few. It is known in the country for providing one of the highest standards of academic curriculums in the country and college preparatory for it's students.

In addition to the Country Day School a new private school is also being built in nearby Pinilla with a grand opening and enrollment planned for September 2007. This school will also give the area families an option for education.
